About
With over 30 years of experience in real estate capital markets and investment, I am the founding principal of JACKS Realty Capital, a boutique advisory and investment firm focused on raising and allocating capital to commercial and multifamily properties across the U.S. Creating value and delivering innovative solutions for clients and partners is at the core of everything I do.
Leveraging an extensive network of relationships, my work spans originating debt and equity investments, advising acquisitions, and strategically investing proprietary capital with my clients and partners. My deep background in real estate capital markets and structured finance allows me to invest in any point in a deal’s capital stack from first mortgages, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and co-GP equity. I believe that listening carefully to my client’s needs and crafting bespoke capital solutions is key to maximizing their returns.
Prior to starting JACKS, I led the development and growth of new commercial real estate lines of business at Annaly Commercial Real Estate Group, Kimco Realty, GE Capital, and CIBC, creating profitable and scalable investment platforms. My track record is proven. At Annaly, we grew the business from approximately $1.2 billion AUM to almost $3.5 billion prior to the successful sale of the CRE business to a Canadian asset management firm. At Kimco, the shopping center portfolio grew from about 250 centers to over 900 during my 8-year tenure. At GE Capital, I helped build businesses in JV equity investments, capital markets and REIT lending. Each role encompassed the full investment lifecycle, from strategy and deal sourcing to capital markets and portfolio management. I pride myself on delivering results with speed and efficiency. At JACKS, we value integrity, innovation, and transparency, while managing risk and building relationships.
