With over 30 years of experience in real estate capital markets and investment, I am the founding principal of JACKS Realty Capital, a boutique advisory and investment firm focused raising and allocating capital to commercial and multifamily properties across the U.S. I am passionate about creating value and delivering innovative solutions for my clients and partners.

I leverage my extensive network of relationships to originate debt and equity investments, advise on acquisitions, and strategically invest proprietary capital with my clients and partners. With a deep background in real estate capital markets and structured finance, I will invest in any point in a deal’s capital stack from first mortgages, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and co-GP equity.  I listen carefully to my client’s needs and craft bespoke capital solutions to maximize their returns.

Prior to starting JACKS, I led the development and growth of new commercial real estate lines of business at Annaly Commercial Real Estate Group, Kimco Realty, GE Capital, and CIBC, creating profitable and scalable investment platforms. I managed the full investment lifecycle, from strategy and deal sourcing to capital markets and portfolio management.  I deliver results with speed and efficiency and value integrity, innovation, and transparency, while managing risk and building relationships.
 

I am an active member of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC and the Mortgage Bankers Association. I participate on several non-profit boards and enjoy mentoring young real estate professionals. I graduated with a degree in public policy from Duke University.
